Dear Love,

I’m tired.

There are so many layers to my fatigue that it would take a four-page letter to truly explore them all.

I may be weak, I may be a broken vessel, but I know my Lord is with me. “Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

Faithfulness can be uncomfortable sometimes because it requires you to show up even when you don't have all the words, the time, or the energy. Sometimes faithfulness is saying you know what, I know I’m not perfect, but I serve a God who is.

This faithful letter, Don’t Forget Your Prayers, is written by someone who is on her own faith journey with God and is healing from multiple chronic illnesses, most of which she doesn't always discuss.

Today, I'm tired, worn out, still recovering, and I honestly just wanted to show up for you today: imperfect and unprepared. I simply asked God to guide me as I always do and He did.

I want you to know you can come to God with anything, imperfect, unprepared, unsure, full of doubt, and just a whole mess. He’ll still love you and show you grace and mercy.

Yahweh don't play about His babies, and you darling, are His joy, His sunshine, His body, His child (Ephesians 1:18-23). Never forget you are loved by the one true God. That is worth more than anything you could ever own in this world and so are your prayers.

Don't Forget Your Prayers

All My Love,

Lisa Ford
